- Good, but also need a steel
This sharpens fine, but to get a perfect edge, I still have to go over the blade with a steel.The product's very good, but doesn't do the job on its own.

- Ruined my knives
I bought this along with the Rachael Ray Furi knives.As another reviewer said,if you maintain the proper pressure and alignment it works great - However, push a little too hard and the sides of the knives are very scratched up...didn't realize this until I saw the sides of the knives and it was too late.

This is the second Ozitech I've purchased.A friend told me he hated sharpening knives, as he could never get the blades where he wanted them.I asked for one of his knives, took it home, sharpened it with the Ozitech, gave it back to him where he promptly opened his thumb in a "test."After the bleeding and bitching stopped he asked me to order one for him.On another note, I've had mine for two plus years and its still going strong.I've thrown out all my sharpening stones and other crap in ... Was apprehensive at first when this item arrived! Its unconventional shape threw me off but once set up it did an excellent job of sharpening my knives. It is small and compact therefore easy to store. The price is also good.

Overall, I found this knife sharpener to be very fast and easy to use.Luckily the instructions are printed clearly on the package with visuals so you know the knife is positiioned correctly. It worked very well on all of my Rachel Ray Furi knives. I would recommend this as a good alternative to other knife sharpeners that can be more difficult or complicated. Plus, this is compact and folds to a size that fits in any drawer.
