My favorite letter opener vanished when we last moved house.I tried others but they were plastic and snapped in two and/or didn't work well.When I saw this model, I thought it might be the replacement I was looking for.While the rubbery handle provides a solid grip and the blade itself looks thick and strong, alas, the blade feels like a standard metal letter opener that has been thinly plated for matte texture and (ostensibly) strength.The result is a rather dull blade that pulls at and ... This is the best letter opener I have found so far. A more rounded handle would make it perfect.
