Rating: - slow cooker glass lid

I was very happy with my slow cooker, until couple of days ago, when part of the glass lid, the size of a fish bone (1 1/2 inch long) fell into my soup, and show up in my friend's mouth, I was shock andscare because we
foundmore small pieces in thepot.
There was no way that we can notice before serving, because it was a very fine piece of glass that came down from one of the inner edges, and the lid did look normal, only when I passed my finger around the edges I felt the ... Read More
Rating: - Cracked Crock
Hairline crack along bottom of ceramic pot after only a dozen uses.Should have checked reviews before purchase like I usually do.After reviewing other comments on this product stating kitchen aid replacements also cracked, will just take the loss and try another brand.

Best slow cooker I have ever used. This is a very high quality produt. The automatic setting with the timer is the greatist. The recipes Kitchen Aide enclosed with it are great. The first time I used it I did pulled pork in it and it came out delicious.

This is an absolutely wonderful appliance. Unlike pretty much any other slow cooker on the market (with the possible exception of the Cuisinart), it is very solidly constructed. It is incredibly easy to use, and it just happens to look very attractive (in the cinnamon color). I didn't know that they even had any crock pots, let alone one this nice..I had an old 5 qt Rival crock pot that weighs more than this one, which is surprising because of its large 7 quart capacity.
