I have been using this shaver for about a month and I am very pleased.It provides a very close shave... especially for the price.It's also lightweight and holds a charge very well.

Bought this last month after leaving my ten-year-old electric at a hotel.
Pros:It really does deliver a nice close shave.It's not quite as close as a blade, but it's darn close, and it's *miles* better than my old electric.The battery lasts a while, it's easy to clean, and the trimmer does work.
Cons:The trimmer is fairly weak and somewhat difficult to get to work on rogue neck whiskers.
Overall, it's a great product except for the trimmer.

I needed to replace a Braun that had worn-out batteries and chose the Remington MS2-390 based on reviews in a "leading consumer magazine" and user comments posted here at Amazon. The MS2-390 is noisier, but it is lighter and shaves closer than the Braun. The MS2-390 is also cleaner, as it doesn't leak shaved whiskers like the Braun did. Plus, the MS2-390 can be rinsed in water. Overall the Remington MS2-390 is a very good razor for the money.

My 74 year old husband says that this is the best electric rechargeable razor that he has ever had!It gives a close and comfortable shave but does require recharging usually after five shaves.
