- Linksys WUSB54GSC - Pretty good; should be better.
My Linksys wireless USB adapter works pretty well, except that it is a little weak in picking up a signal.I use it on a Dell desktop to pick up my Linksys wireless router system in the next room.I am surprised that it only gets four out of five bars on the signal strength.My roommate also uses one, and has the same problem.My laptop, with built-in wireless card, for comparison, always gets five bars in the same location.That said, the adapter has no problem acquiring the signal and the ... - Great product for easy installers...
I have been using this product for about a year now and it works flawlessly(with the windows vista/xp configuration software).I would rate it with less stars for the product software but i am not rating the software.As far as I can say.... It connects everyday at 54mbps 100% and my router(linksys wrt54gs) is at least 20 feet away and in a different room.All in all a great wifi adapter.

I am soooooo ticked off!This is my second adapter.The first one that I bought was the Wireless N adapter that Linksys (the box) said was backwards compatible.I could never get it to work.I finally called Linksys and the rep told me that it was not backwards compatible."The box is wrong".Then I bought this one.Again another lie... The box says it is "VISTA CERTIFIED"Baloney!When I opened the box there was a paper that said I needed to download the Vista drivers from the website, ... Read More

Before I begin, let me tell you that I wanted EASY to use and that is what I got. These adapters are as easy as plug and play for those of us that are tech challenged.
Now let me also add that I have now gone through FOUR of these on two pc's. Two for each in a bit over a year.I am here now looking for more.
Although I hesitate to buy the same exact thing, I do love the simplicity and I like the speed in which they function until they just die one day and you are left scrambling for ... Read More
