Amazon.com Review:
Celebrity chef Rachael Ray gets innovative with shaping for this large sauté pan, with effective and versatile results. Hard-anodized aluminum for durability, the pan heats evenly and quickly, while a nonstick interior helps with food release and cuts down on the fats necessary for cooking. The pan's wide oval shape takes up minimal space when the stovetop is crowded, and the glass lid lets you watch over food without releasing heat or steam. The signature Rachael Ray orange handles have nonslip, heat-resistant silicone grips, and a helper handle on this pot makes draining and carrying much easier. With its 5-quart capacity and accommodating dimensions, the piece is great for everything from sautéing chicken breasts to pan-roasting asparagus. It is also safe in the oven to 400 degrees F, cleans up easily by hand, and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. --Emily Bedard

All I can say is that this pan is Excellent!I bought it for my mom and she uses it for everything! She raves about it.
Rating:
- a good pan, but one drawback...
This pan makes it easy for me to prepare one-pot meals, and the larger surface area is really helpful in browning meats, preparing dumplings, etc.Another plus is that, because of the shape, it fits easily on the stovetop next to another large pot.The only drawback I've found is that, unlike a round pan, the lid can fall into the dish.It made quite a mess when I dropped it into the chili I was making - so I'll definitely have to be more careful next time!

- great saute pan and lightweight!
when i first opened the box for this pan, i was expecting something wider, but it is not too bad when you finally start cooking with it. it can hold a lot due the raised edges, and it is makes up for the lack of wideness with its oval shape. it is great with even heating, and was a very good addition to the other products i own. the food slides out really easily and washes with ease. no scrubbing here.

- Great pan overall, but has a few flaws...
First, I really like this pan, I use it frequently. Because I use it frequently, I noticed some wear in the middle of the pan. The middle of the pan is discolored and has lost some of it's non-stick ability. I noticed this pan doesn't cook as well on the edges because most of the heat is concentrated to the middle, which would explain the wear and discoloration in the middle. It would also be nice if I could see my food in the pan through the lid, but it is always really fogged up. I'm not sure if ... Read More
