This is a wonderful phone! My brother would never advance to using a cordless phone,,can you imagine that in 2008? He moved into a new home from out of town and I had the job of setting the house up for him and I purchased this and set it up before he moved in. He was mad at first , said he didn't need it and to take it back. I just asked him to try it occassionally and if after a month or so I would unplug and remove it. Well we all know what happened next? He loves the phone and had an incident ... Read More

it not only has volume control it also has a light that lights,when phone rings,and when you dial.the buttons are large enough to see and dial. it will be good phone for seniors.great phone.good reception also from base.
