- Photos and Ring IDs does NOT sync up to other Handsets
I purchased this phone with 3 additional handsets because I liked the Color display.The phone has a USB and With the included software and USB driver (not compatible with VISTA) you can download your personal photos and wav files to the phone.As with the cell phone, you can assign different photos and rings to different people in your address book.After registering my add'l handsets to the base phone, I was able to sync the address book to the other handsets, however, the ringtones and photos ... - Item advertised as new, received a used item instead.
Item was advertised as "NEW". Item arrived with plastic shell opened like a fish and with an "AS-IS" label on the product. Seller refused to acknowledge selling me a used product. I've never had that problem on eBay. I am never buying at Amazon again!

I bought this exact model number for $119 on Amazon in January 2007. I just looked up the order and this is the model I boughtKX-TG5777PK. I just pasted that from my original order. It's selling for over $500 now? I must be seeing things.
Update - I see the price is back now to where it should be. Love this phone.
Rating: - Yes...but there are caveats
The Panasonic 5.8GHz gigarange phones have some compelling features but be aware of the shortcomings.
+ The range is quite good.These phones handle our challenging-for-wireless home and even provide coverage a good distance into the yard.
+ Sound quality is very good as well.No conflicts with our wireless network and any breakup in quality only becomes evident when you get to the limit of its range.
+ Controls are relatively well placed and intuitive.

Rating: - KX-TG5777SK - great phone, poor seller
I purchased the KX-TG5777SK on sale for a GREAT price, but I wasn't aware until I opened the box that it was apparently a refurbished unit.
The bad: stickers with unremovable goo on the phones, paint already scratched off the somewhat-nasty looking finish, data not cleared off the phones, "ghost" handsets still registered to the base unit. Unlike what the Amazon description states, this has only a 90-day warranty according to the invoice, manual and stickers plastered on the phones.
