I have used this stove top daily for the last few weeks.It has worked consistantly.I previously cooked on a gas stove, so the pots and pans heat up a bit slower then I'm used to but not so much that it has caused a problem.I cook with cast iron and stainless steel, and the cast iron heating surfacse of the burner works well with the those types of pots.If I time things right I am able to shut the burner off well in advance and let the residual heat finish cooking my dish.

We are very pleased with the performance of our new double burner.We have gone through two others, which managed to last less than 3 months.Either one of the burners stopped working completely, or stayed on constantly when plugged in.We also had problems with the knobs actually working.The Waring Pro has performed very well for us.We use this at our cabin where we do not have a range, and it has met our expectations.

I bought this for a friend that recently had a stove that quit working. She needed some thing temporary that could be used as a subsitute but just as good as a stove. This portable double burner was perfect for what my friend needed. Not only does it look really nice but it cooks just as good as a regular stove. I highly recommend this to anyone shopping for a portable burner, it's worth it.

I have no experience with other portable stoves, but I found that this one heats very slowly.Bringing a pot to boil for pasta can take up to 40 minutes.It is fine for frying eggs, making a grilled cheese or burger, but using both burners at the same time is really pushing it's capacity.Great for keeping things warm but other than that, I was not too happy.

The Waring Pro DB60 Portable Double Burner was delivered precisely on time, and has proven perfectly useful in my tight kitchenette space. Looks so good that it's a pleasure to keep clean - easy, too. Much less expensive than the professional model I almost bought, and takes up much less space on the counter. Glad I looked around until I found this product. Will purchase Waring and through Amazon again, gladly.
