Product Description:
The Snore Wizard Mouthpiece The Snore Wizard Mouthpiece is a simple and effective oral device for use in the treatment of snoring and sleep apnea. Made of special soft feel plastic it comes ready to use. There is no heating or moulding required to achieve a correct fit and you still continue to breathe through your mouth. The SnoreWizard moves the lower jaw slightly forward and holds the mouth slightly open. This improves the airflow at the back of the throat and eliminates snoring in most cases. The Snore Wizard was developed by a dental surgeon and the product has undergone numerous clinical trials in which it was found to reduce snoring and sleep apnea in 94% of research subjects. The Snore Wizard was designed to increase the space behind the tongue by bringing the lower jaw (mandible) forward, opening the airway in the throat and eliminating snoring. Why Most People Snore Normally air passes through the throat to the lungs silently and unhindered. In snorer's however, fatty tissue, tonsils and adenoids can narrow passageways, creating turbulence that makes the throat tissue vibrate. The problem can be exacerbated by excess body weight and/or excessive alcohol consumption prior to sleeping. Snoring has nothing to do with the nostrils. How To Best Prevent Snoring Snoring will not occur if the airway in the throat remains open. This can be accomplished by holding your lower jaw slightly forward during sleep. This is the exact reason that The Snore Wizard was invented. Snoring problems and the more severe form, obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) are common problems found in many households. OSAS is the most well manifested form of snoring diseases in which the affected person stops breathing during sleep due to an obstruction of the airway passage towards the lungs. Due to sleeping problems the affected individuals perform day time activities at a very reduced level, which gives rise to a wide range of problems, both from a medical and a social behavioral point

- AMAZING!!!
I bought "the Snore Wizard"for my boyfriend who has severe sleep apnea. My boyfriend said, thatit helps him sleep alot better, and he doesn't choke in his sleep when he sleeps with "the Snore Wizard". Also,my boyfriend also mentionedthat it does take some time to get used to (and that it hurts his teeth a little) but thatwhen he trims (the edges) he said it doesn't hurt so much.I noticed too, that my boyfriend gets a deeper more slumber sleep with "the snore wizard" than he does without ... - It stopped my snoring and lets my wife sleep
Who ever thought a piece of plastic could stop snoring? I am a very deep sleeper so when I snore my wife can't even wake me up. I tried this as a last resort really, and amazingly it works. My wife says I either do not snore at all or only very lightly. That's the good part. Be prepared though, this thing is very uncomfortable, especially the first week or so when you are adjusting to it. I find in the morning I have a lot of saliva build up which I guess is common. It's a small price to pay I guess.

- Does not work.
The mouth piece comes out of your mouth and it did not stop me from snoring.I had to go back to my Cpat system.

- Fantastic! Slept through the night for the first time in years.
The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was I wish it had small guards on the inside of the upper jaw.I have a narrow jaw and it took awhile to position the device so it didn't slide up inside my cheek and rub.
As another reviewer mentioned, they say not to trim the inside lower guard.I did it anyway as it rubbed my inner lower gum almost raw.I took off about 1/8th inch and rounded the edges with scissors and a pumice stone.Problem solved.

- Gets the job done
After countless mornings waking up tired and grouchy, I began to wonder if I had a sleep disorder of some kind.Knowing that I snore, I figured I'd give this product a try to see if it would have any effect.
Wow, was I ever surprised at the results! The first morning after using the Snore Wizard, I woke up feeling refreshed after just five hours of sleep! For every day of the ~2 weeks I've used it, the quality of my sleep was excellent.I didn't know that this is what normal sleep was supposed ...
