- Good Coffee Maker - But Needs Some Changes
I've been looking for a great coffee maker for a long time. The biggest problem I've had is finding a maker that will tolerate the quantity of coffee that I use - I like very strong coffee. Most pots don't accept that much coffee, or consistently overflow the basket. This maker makes great very strong coffee, and in quantities that are useful.it is fast to brew and the basket holds a ton of coffee grounds.
The caraffe is large, but I don't understand why it so big. When full, there ... Read More

- OK for large pots, but....
.... this is a great coffee maker if you make 8 or more cups at a time. When this machine arrived from Amazon, I had a house full of company, so we used to to make full pots. After the house guests left, I went back to my morning ritual of making 4-5 cups at a time, and discovered that this machine just can't make a decent short pot of coffee.

- Problem with the reconditioned
I bought one of these from Williams-Sonoma and love it.So when I bought a second house and saw it practically half-price here, I bought the reconditioned one.It brewed just fine for about a week, then it stopped.Amazon is replacing it.I hope it doesn't have the same problem because when it works, it makes great coffee.

- Best Coffee Maker I've owned
I wanted to write this review after seeing the previous complaint that the on/off switch on this coffee maker sticks.
I purchased one of these new from Williams and Sonoma months ago and have made hundreds of batches of coffee with it and have had absolutely no problems with any of the controls sticking or any other troubles.
This coffee maker produces superb coffee because it has a 1350 watt heat pump similar to what is in a commercial machine. The water is extremely hot and ... Read More

- problemic coffee maker
This coffee maker is beautiful, however, it has a problem. The on off switch sticks a lot.Kitchen Aid replaced the entire system for me afew times and finally I gave up and bought a cheaper more reliable coffee maker. All the replacements they sent to me developed the same problem.
