Rating: - Great travel companion for copying documentation
I use this scanner to take quick scans of technical documentation, work orders, and corrective action reports that are hand written in the factory using a netbook.I then import these into PaperPort ( an awesome software package that drove my scanner selection) where I use the highlighter tool to annotate the progress of work.I then copy the titles of each required action to a separate document toso I have a master list of all work that is outstanding without spending hours hand copying the ... It is a good product overall, I bought it thinking it was the full duplex model, but it's OK.The real problem was installing the "Nuance" software *it is the best part of using this scanner*, and it was almost impossible, because it kept telling me to close processes that I couldn't find or see with the TaskManager, *windows explorer, print spooler and another HP process, all of them I couldn't find to close*.I checked allover online searching for a solution and couldn't find any.In the end, ... I am very happy with this scanner!It is so portable.The software allows me to do what I want it to do with my receipts and with business cards as well as full sheet scanning.I would recommend this to others needing a portable scanner.
