- Stolen Child
Loreena McKennitt's Stolen Child track is absolutely haunting. It just bring tears to my eyes. Here, she soars with that amazing voice of her's, telling her story as only she can deliver.Inwardly we are atuned to certain vibrations, that trigger memories of our innocence and when we were yet not hardened by life.Sit with this women's music for a time, and if you're not transformed, your inner child has been replaced by cynisism and the call of the market place. Then, you will need to find ... - Listen to this one again and again
Loreena McKennitt's music is dreamy and very evocative, sort of like Enya only that you can understand the words.I was knitting an Aran sweater when I first listened to this CD, and that seemed right. Now the knitting needs the music as accompaniment!I've listened to this over and over and find it pleasing.Beautiful, haunting songs and Loreena's lovely voice interpreting them, this CD is excellent.

- Loreena is the best
Loreena is the best musician in the world. She has been part of my bed time ritual for over 9 years. What a great way to go to sleep at night.

My journey through the work of Loreena McKennitt started several years ago with The Book of Secrets and I have since followed her career both backward and forward. I picked this CD up on sale at a favorite Encinitas ... Read More
