- Very nice, only lasted a year
This toaster has been great.It also did an excellent job of cooking eggs.Unfortunately 14 months after the original purchase the egg cooking part has stopped heating.Normally, I would only give 3 stars, for such poor reliability, but after several years of trying various toasters and toaster ovens, I've concluded that I can only get about a year's service from those devices.Sigh.

What a great product!I am on a diet which includes a egg every morning and this product has made my mornings so easy.I set it up, turn it on and ta-da it's ready in minutes while I am doing other tasks.My husband loves it and he is not usually pleased with such gadgets.I highly recommend one for every home even if you don't like eggs.I have heated chicken and made a quick sandwich just before walking out the door.Go for it, do yourself a favor and do away with that nasty toaster/oven like ... I bought it for my husband for Christmas. He used to go to Mcdonalds for their egg mcmuffin or sausage mcmuffin and bring them home. Now he can have them hot and with better quality ingredients like really good sharp cheddar cheese. It also makes great plain old toast just the way we like it. We livein an area with very hard water, so when I am finished I pour 2TBS of white vinegar in the poacher area and let it cool. Easy clean up! It still looks brand new after 3 dozen eggs. this was the best toaster ever for my family quick easy egg mc muffins until 3 months later egg cooker quit working a short while after that the toaster quit working great idea not so great product.
