Rating: - Good for the Money, but Slightly Obsolete
I bought this to replace a HP 1012, which I gave to my brother. For $130, I have, at the least, a very good printer and copier. Just avoiding the inconvenience of going to a copying shop to copy a few pages is worth a great deal, particularly since I tend to procrastinate. I don't fax much, but faxing seems to work fine. I don't have a web site, so I don't need to scan.
The duplex printing is a pleasure, but does not seem to work with .pdf files. Since I have few problems with paper ... Read More

I have been using the MF4150 for 18 months.It is outstanding.To get true duplex printing for this price is amazing, and the copying and scanning works as advertised as well.The only drawback for me right now is that the MF Toolbox software, which allows you to control scans (including direct-to-PDF scans) has not been updated to work with Windows 7 beta, and the Vista version refuses to install correctly.Still, the printer driver works just fine in Windows 7 beta, so it's a perfectly functional ... Read More

The Canon MF 4150 is a joy to use with my home office Dell system. I copy alot of documents and then scan them, in order to email them along to colleagues. I'm very pleased with how easy and quick everything is. It's actually fun to use! Two minor complaints: sometimes when you scan a 4 or 5 page document, a page or two will scan crooked or tilted. There may be a way to correct this, but I haven't looked into that yet, as it is not too big a problem. Also, regarding faxing, you can slow the fax speed down ... Read More

I bought one of these about a year ago. It worked great on our wifi network with our windows notebooks. We've now switched to Macs and found the printer is now complete junk. It just about prints with a direct USB connection, but scanning is not supported and neither is printing via airport.
C'mon Canon how about some love for Mac users?
