when I received the desk I was dismayed to discover the biggest piece (the top of the desk) was broken in half. I wasn't really surprised after looking over the packaging the pieces were literally falling out of the box..ups didnt help at all by leaving it in the rain. I contacted amazon about it and they handled the problem promptly. they sent me another desk and had ups pick up the broken one. my advice is to not buy this because the shipping for one thing is over $50, and target doesn't even bother ... - Solid desk; easy to put together
I wanted to get myself a new computer desk which could house my laptop as well as a new 2nd LCD monitor. This item seemed to fit the bill quite nicely.
The instructions were very clear, easy to understand; I'm sure a 10 year old could put this desk together (not recommended: please use adult supervision! ;) ). Although its name includes "no tools assembly," a screwdriver and perhaps a hammer may be necessary to make the desk as sturdy as possible.

We were looking for a desk for tutoring our 5 year old and this computer desk appeared to fit the bill nicely.While I typically don't have much trouble assembling things, I get very frustrated when the directions are misleading.I thought I would try the "no-tools" desk as I figured I could make my way around it sans instructions if need be.This was not necessary, I'm happy to say.The instructions are very clear and concise. Desk had parts broken when unpacked and wood split when screws were inserted. A total waste. That's all for Target products. This product is really worth zero stars.
