I've had several George Foremen grills and the Emeril grill is the BESTgrill I've tried.I always do my steaks on this grill, they never over cook, chicken is juicy and done and sandwiches grill beautifully.Being able to take it apart to clean is an added plus.It is so easy to clean under running water that I rarely put it in the dishwasher but that works as well.I would recommend this grill to anyone.

I really researched grills like this one before I bought.This is the only one under $100 that had all the features I wanted: an adjustable thermostat, grates that could be taken apart and cleaned in the sink or the dishwasher, enough power to sear a steak, could also do panini.I'm so happy with it.I've done panini, steak, salmon, and veggies.The grill is easy to wipe clean after most things and cleans up easy, but after grilling the steak and salmon, it was a little harder. - OK BUT USE CAUTION
Cooks very well and is easy to clean. With a minimum of care food dosen't stick.Instructions with the unit are worthless and you have to learn to use it on your own. Heats very hot and food will burn easily if you are not careful. No timer or useful temp control like many other models. Other models at this price may be a better bet.

I was a little apprehensive when I bought it because I didn't want yet one more item on my counter or taking up space in my drawers if it didn't work well for our family.It works better than I could've ever asked for!We have grilled sandwiches to perfection, the grilled zucchini was amazing, and we even grilled a 2+ inch rib eye for valentines day that came out perfectly!I highly recommend a digital thermometer to ensure your desired pinkness for steaks. ... I have really enjoyed this machine. It heats quickly and sandwiches, steaks, etc. cook quickly. I disagree with the chef that said the ridges were not needed. I think sandwiches taste so much better when cooked on this versus a flat grill. The only regret that I have is that the machine was made in China. The thing I really like is the cleanup. It is a lot easier to clean than my George Foreman grill.
