Heavy weight, 100% cotton twill. Stain resistant treated fabric. Silicone treated allowing for a better grip on hot cookware. Silicone is heat resistant up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Silicone treated on both sides allowing for use for both right handed and left handed consumers. Hang loop for easy storage. Embroidered Calphalon logo.

- Dependable glove
Best glove I've ever had--nice and long to cover that part of your arm that often just grazes the oven door.

These mitts are poor quality.When I first used the mitts I could still feel the heat from hot oven trays.Then the situation only got worse a few days later as the seam between the the thumb and finger split so now they are useless.I wouldn't recommend these at all!

This is the best oven mitt I've ever had, it seems well made and works quite well. That said, there seem to be some quality control issues... Another review said their mitt was large, but ours is definitely smaller than standard mitts. It fits my hands, but is very tight on my husband's. Also, it isn't the color in the picture - but the piping detail is. The pot holders I also ordered in the same color (green) have the same color problems, though they are the color in the picture... but one of them ... Read More

I purchased two Calphalon Oven Mitts in black because I don't believe they will show grease as much as the other colors.I love the fact that they're long enough to come up to mid-to-high forearm for lots of extra protection.My husband and I both cook and he really appreciates them.I suppose my hands are larger than some women but the gloves are only slightly large on me and perfect for hubby. I think that for women with small hands they would not be happy.I love the insulated twill with the ... Read More

Perfect! Just what I was looking for.I now longer get burned holding hot broiler pans.Yes they're slightly large.People with small hands probably should look elsewhere.
