- Love it!
Terrific for scrambling 2 or 3 eggs, heating pasta sauce for one or two.
I use this quite a bit more than anticipated.

- Great item, but I thought it was a little larger too
There is nothing "wrong" with this item, persay. But, I too thought it was a bit bigger than it actually is. I was quite amused to get it in the mail and find that it is, in total just 4/5 inches long, including handle, rather than the general way skillets are measured, which is diameter of the pan itself. I wish I had known, but got some good ideas of how to use it from the other reviews, so...oh well. Would still like to find an actual 4/5 inch skillet.

- Perfect for serving sizes
I have one of the Lodge Miniature cast iron spoon rests that I cook withon a routine basis. Wal Mart sold them as ashtrays; it's never had that use in my house. This is perfect for a single serving size of egg, sausage, etc. For making biscuts or serving cornbread for each place setting, children and adults alike go crazy over them. And cast iron is easy to clean and maintain. I grew up with it.
I gotta try the garlic and olive oil idea- it sounds fantastic.

- Cute
I love these miniature skillets.I use them to melt butter, make small portions of buttermilk cornbread /biscuits.They were pre-seasoned...I've had no problems with them.
