- Not as great as expected
I bought this product based on all the great reviews. I haven't been impressed with the rice - quick or standard cooked white rice. I have had better rice cooked in much cheaper cookers. The result has improved somewhat over the months - by experimenting with the amount of water added but it shouldn't be this hard. I would not recommend this product over cheaper versions that I have found easier to use, easier to clean and provide a better cooking result.

- Amazing!
This rice cooker not only looks good, it cooks good! It's pretty compact, which makes it easy to carry. The rice cooks perfectly everytime, that's coming from a guy who doesn't really know how to cook rice.Make sure you take some time to read the instruction manual, it's pretty helpful.

- nice cooker
I bought the smaller model, but it looked too small if I had guests over. I sent it back and bought a 5 cup Panasonic which was $50 cheaper, but the brown rice turned out not cooked all the way. Sent it back, and bought this. I tried just one cup of brown rice and it was done perfectly. I was worried that just one cup wouldn't cook right in the bigger model, but it did. Highly recommend this.

- Great for facilitating home cooking!
I come from a long line of Zojirushi lovers.Which by long line I mean my parents and I.But I have no doubt that when I have children, they too will become lovers of Zojirushi's awesome kitchen appliances!

- Excellent rice cooker
My previous rice cooker died after about two years.I'd been researching cookers even before the other, cheaper version broke and had decided on the Zojirushi, mainly because of its good looks. But after I got it, I was very happy with its performance.Rice cooks perfectly every time and cleanup is a breeze.I may even try baking a cake in it!
