THIS HAS BECOME MY MOST USED COOKING IMPLEMENT. IT COOKS ALMOST ANYTHING YOU CAN THINK OF EITHER IN THE OVEN OR ON MY COOKTOP. THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS ITS WEIGHT, IT IS VERY HEAVY, BUT THIS IS PROBABLY WHY IT COOKS SO WELL.

This Casserole is one of the top cookpots in our kitchen. It is a great cookpot for one dish meals. Spanish paella is handled especially well with this Cast-Iron Casserole.

This casserole was a great addition to my kitchen.It has become my favortite pan for cooking vegetables and braising on the stove top.My Moroccan vegetable stew is even better now -- the pan distributes the heat evenly and allows very slow simmering.I can use less liquid too as the heft of the lid allows little steam to escape.Easy to clean too.My next purchase will be the 5 quart dutch oven.I highly recommend this product.
