- Don't be fooled!Not american made.
I purchased this Dutch Oven when I read a review stating this comes from a little company in the USA.When I received the box it stated made in China.I called the company and they said that all their Enameled Dutch Ovens come from China. This is a big concern since there has been issues with China's lead addition to their paints. We've addressed this issue to some extent with Children toys manufactured in China but I am hesitant to believe that all their addition of lead in other products have ... - Great-looking, great-performing enameled Dutch oven
This pot replaced a 6.5qt red enameled Dutch oven I'd bought at Sam's Club. The red enamel had chipped & quickly dulled (despite never using anything above med heat on the stove). I wanted Le Creuset, but they're just too spendy right now. So, I got my money back at Sam's, and spent an additional $27 on this blue beauty. The handles are much larger than the ones on the Sam's Club version, and at 2c less, it's easier to lift, handle and wash. The rounded bottom also makes stirring & cleaning easier. ... Read More

- Enameled Cast-Iron Dutch Oven
I bought recently a 3-quart and 6-quart Lodge Enameled Cast-Iron Dutch Ovens and they are great. I have tried some new recipes since I have had this and it has made family days really enjoyable. Not only are they wonderful to cook in but keep various dishes at a good temperature for serving quite some time after removing from the stove. The heat is so evenly distributed while cooking and that is fabulous. I really like this cookware.

I LOVE this dutch oven!I can't believe I waited so long to buy one. It takes less to bring it up to temperature and maintains the heat level perfectly. I cook a lot and use thermometers.
