It comes with 1 GB of built-in memory, which is enough for about 20 of your favorite albums. But you needn't stop there. The xtension boasts a built-in SD/MMC card slot, which effectively gives you infinite storage by swapping out cards full of your favorite tunes.
Enjoy ID3 tag/filename display and folder navigation on the brilliant graphic LCD with blue backlighting; support for MP3, WMA, and WAV format audio files; and a host of other features--like shuffle function, intro function, and resume function (continue listing where you left off). Dial in your ideal sound with the six equalizer functions (Bass, Jazz, Classical, Normal, Pop, and Rock), sit back and enjoy the tunes. You'll get up to 8 hours of playback from a single AAA battery.
Integrated FM Radio
Catch your favorite radio programs or tune into FM broadcasts at the gym with the stereo FM radio. Store your favorite stations on one of the 30 user presets for easy access anytime.
Voice and Radio Recording
Record meetings, lectures, or memos to yourself on the built-in voice recorder/microphone, and record directly from the radio if you hear something you want to save for later.

- Great now that I understand it!
Device was showing nothing on the display when I got it, and still periodically loses the display. I have to reinstall the firmware each time. Note if you're having problems- get the firmware version 2.09.92.09 from Support@datastation.us. Do not use version 10 from the Trekstor website as it has problems with the volume (per Datastation). Also remove the battery before reinstalling the firmware. Now that I've figured that out I think I'll get a lot of use out of this. I save all my music to a 4GB ... Read More

- Great for the price.
Mostly I just wanted a cheap MP3 player, so the added FM radio feature was a welcome plus.
In fact, I found the instuctions for loading music so complicated, I STILL haven't done it and have ONLY been using the FM radio feature, which, so far, keeps my brain occupied while working out at the "Y."
I'm sure I'll figure out the instructions, someday, but to tell the truth, I haven't taken the player out of my gym bag since I started taking it to the gym.

- Very poor quality player.
Garbage, spend 30$ at walmart and get a sansa 1gig player. Less than one star product.

- Don't waste your money
Don't waste your money on this crappy item. It was good for the first month or so but now it is having problems. Some of the buttons are beginning to give me trouble. They simply don't work anymore. Go for a better unit. Too bad.You really do get what you pay for.
