Men's Rogaine® Extra Strength is for men who have a general thinning of hair on the top of the scalp (vertex only, as shown on the package). Not intended for frontal baldness or a receding hairline. Men's Rogaine® Extra Strength has been shown to regrow hair in men with the degrees of thinning hair or hair loss as shown on the side of the package (see box for details). If men have more hair loss than shown on package examples, Men's Rogaine® Extra Strength may not work.

It works, I've used it for several years now. Inconvenient as far as drying time so I'm trying the foam too and it seems to be working.

I actually purchased this for my husband and it does take a while to work, so he is not yet seeing results.I however, have been using Rogaine for women since last July and I can't believe the results.I am a 49 year old woman who has always had thin hair.After the birth of my children it got worse.Last summer I was loosing so much hair I asked my hair-dresser what to do.She suggested Rogaine.My hair is so much thicker now, I can't see my scalp anymore.I would recommend this product to ... I am 30 years old and started to notice my hair thinning about 4-5 years ago.I too bought Rogaine and when reading the material saw that the FDA approved the product for treating male pattern baldness, which by definition is when you lose hair starting in the back.But so many people start like me with a receding hair line that starts on the sides of the front hair line.People get the box and make a snap judgement that it won't work because it was only tested for efficacy on the back of the head ... I have been using it for 6 months. Rogaine does work, but you must be patient and use it twice each day as directed by the instructions. I may not like the routine ofapplying it each morning and each evening, but if I want to keep a full head of hair,this is what I must do.

I was hoping to get a little more details about the product, such as, the expiration date, side effects and the description of the product.Basically, I was looking for a product with helps thinning hair and receeding hair lines for the frontal scalp.When I received the order and read the details.I realized it wasn't the product I was looking for.This product was for people going bald in the back and primarly targets regrowth or hair.Which I mis-understood.
