- Best Self Tanner
This is a really great product. After Loreal Sublime Bronze changed there formula I needed to find a new product to give me the same great deep dark results! I was considering doing Mystic but wanted to try this first seeing that the cost of this bottle is the same price as 1 mystic session. After using just about every kind of drugstore sunless tanning product I finally caved in and splurged on this and it was soooo worth it. - Sticky mess
I have used this product about 8 times. It dries very fast and doesn't give you a lot of time to blend it into skin. It feels sticky afterwards and if you sit on anything the colorguide will transfer off. It does streak if not applied correctly which is extremely hard to do because it does dry so fast and if you dry to blend it in once it has dried you start to rub off the product and the skin creating even more of a mess and non tan random spots where the product flaked off. I 1st used the Fake Bake lotion - it was great, but not dark enough. This gel is a pain to put on; it gets real messy when you keep rubbing (flakes). If you don't keep rubbing, it'll show streaky. It also has not tanned me any darker than the lotion.
Rating: - Finally, an amazing self tanner!
I have very fair skin so I've given up on the "cancer-beds," then i tried this stuff and am totally sold. It shows up dark when you put it on and you have to RUB RUB RUB to prevent streaks. Applying it at night is best and dont forget to use gloves. I usually start in sections starting from my feet. One pump from foot to knee for each side ect. Even when you wash it off it still blends really well. It doesnt smell when you sweat either, which is why im so sold on it! This price is amazing too!

Now here is the reason for the *4* stars...this gel is VERY hard to apply.It is very dark, and if not applied correctly, you will end up streaked.I use the scrubs that are recommended (not a high dollar brand though) the dead skin cells have to come off for this/any tanner to give good results.But, it's well worth it, the color lasts for days (stay moisturized!!!).If FB would just make it a little less dark with the "bronzing" part--because it really ends up making a almost black tint until ...
