I don't know what all the "confusion" is about this phone and its base system. I bought the base and two satellites, and they all work perfectly. I honestly think that, and don't get me wrong this system is NOT low-priced, that people expect too much for their money with this. In the era of internet phone service and people completely removing household phone systems all-together and JUST using their cellphones, there is almost no place for these systems any longer. Excellent quality, excellent features, nice looking. Intercom is easy to use, speaker phone is great quality.One problem is the clock displayed on the LCD looses a couple of minutes a week.

Everything good, except it is difficult to use.Typing in numbers and names is difficult and the functions are not intuitive at all for Americans.

although it has some limitations, it a good phone over all.
The buttons paint are not the best, I almost didn't use it, but my feeling is that the paint of the buttons is going to be scratched in no time.
the caller id and address book doesn't interact very well specially if you have multiples area prefix
