These replacement filters are the same as I would purchase from a HVAC but at a lower price.This was a good value.We run our blower constantly to filter our air and Aprilaire does a good job of it.It also makes the temperature in the whole house more uniform.

Comes with clear instructions on how to replace the filter. It's a 5 minutes job if you do it for the first time. Take your time to not break any plastic part because the box only contains the filter, no replacement for broken plastic parts.

I have used this product in three different homes over approximately 25 years.It was originally recommended by a physician to help with a child's allergy issues. It was effective and helped the rest of the family withallergy symptoms. It also kept the house remarkably dust free. Now, the children are all gone and we still would not be without these. Our house is clean, when pollen or ragweed are prevalent the house is a refuge, and we are very happy we've continued with these filters. They are ... Read More

To think I depended upon my A/C company to change these out each year...for $60!
The Apriliaire Spaceguard filter does a great job in capturing dust and particulates.I still use 3 cheap-o 12x12 filters at the intakes (changed every 60 days) as a pre-filter to the Spaceguard.Here in FL where the system gets year-round use, I get a full year out of the Spaceguard
