Amazon.com Product Description:
Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand but loaded with features, the Coby MP-C885 MP3 player lets you listen to your favorite tunes on the bus, at the park, and just about anywhere else. The device measures a mere 3.58 by 1.1 by 0.75 inches (W x H x D), with a removable end cap that reveals a direct USB plug for connecting to a computer (no cable required). More significantly, the MP-C885 offers 1 GB of integrated flash memory, so you can store roughly 16 hours of MP3 music or 32 hours of WMA music--more than enough for a marathon training run or a cross-country flight. And for those occasions when you need to transport data rather than music, the MP- C885 can handle that, too, with the ability to store JPEG photos, text documents, and more. The mobile storage function is ideal for transporting business documents across the country or serving as an overflow backup for your digital camera's memory card.
It's easy to navigate through the audio player's contents thanks to the high-contrast LCD display, which displays the song title and artist information. And as with the best MP3 players, the MP-C885 offers a number of handy extras, such as a built-in digital FM tuner, support for Windows Media DRM-10 online subscription services, ID3 and LRC support for song and synchronized lyric information display, and a high-speed USB 2.0 interface (up to 40x faster than USB 1.0). The MP-C885, which runs on a single AAA battery (included), works with Windows 98 SE, Me, 2000, and XP and Mac OS X operating systems and carries a 90-day warranty.

- 12 months and still going strong
So tiny, so cheap and sounds so good. There was a file loading/un-loading glitch at first. This wasn't exactly fixed, but I found a way around it with a little common sense and perseverance. The supplied headphones worked fine but weren't to my taste, so they were replaced. Also added an adapter so I can play it through my car cassette deck - which sounds just great. All in all, no complaints at all - I don't expect perfection for less than [...] bucks.

- COBY MP3 Player - Reliable With Many Features
The COBY name is a much overlooked product brand.
I own several MP3 players and this is one of the best and here's why:
The Pros -
- This player has a very small profile and is quite rugged in construction.
- Reliable. I've used mine for two years without a problem.
- Built in USB plug; no USB extension cord to fool with.
- No special software required. This is recognized like a standard flash drive and you can store other things in addition to MP3 sound ... Read More

- WORKED GREAT UNTIL IT STOPPED WORKING
I was really surprised by the quality sound that this inexpensive player put out, although NOT with the cheapie earphones that came with it.I mean, they were usable, but they were tinny, had no bass, and just made music unenjoyable. So plan on upgrading the earphones. Also, the player doesn't get very loud...even at max volume, but for me, it still played loud enough...I suspect that young people will find the volume to be inadequate.
There were several preset EQ settings...I found the best ... Read More

- Not worth it
I originally bought this because I have an older ipod which had poor battery life, however this player was not worth the money.I bought it because it was one of the few smaller players that was compatible with mac, but many times when I transfer the songs from my computer to the player they do not transfer. This can be very frustrating, and takes up a lot of unnecessary time.

- Great MP3 player
My 13 year old son actually owns this now. I used it a couple days & he took over. It's been a great lil gadget for him.
