- Just right for me.
I've been taking a Vivarin almost every day since sometime back in 1976.I may have missed 20 or 30 days in there somewhere.I don't drink coffee.I like the smell of coffee, I just can't drink hot stuff.My usual MO is to take one caplet or tablet when I get up in the morning, go back to bed for 15 minutes or so until it kicks in, and then up and off I go!Occasionally I'll cut one in half in the evening if I'm going to be out late.
Works for me...

PROS:Works.Its quick and easy.When I start feeling drowsy at work or while driving I use this product and within minutes I'm wide awake.Also helps with staying focused.
CONS: I never thought anxiety could be caused by taking a pill, but it did for me.Turns out it was the dosage. I bought a pill splitter and cut each pill in half. Now I take the half pills.Still works perfectly, and the anxiety doesn't happen.

"Vivarin" has 200 mg of caffeine in it as its active ingredient.This is equilivant to about 2 strong cups of coffee.I use this product occasionally when I absolutely have to stay awake, such as while driving at night.
