this shampoo has such a luscious smell. i know it can dry your hair a bit, but i love it regardless because it makes my hair smell and feel so great (and i have a lot of hair on my head!).

I've used Aveda Rosemary Mint shampoo in hotels and bought a bottle for myself since I liked the refreshing uplifting scent. Just over a few days, my hair feels heavy - weighed down by residue and oily.So I switched back to a standard shampoo with SLS and my hair feels clean and light again.
I think that it doesn't work if you have a very oily scalp and thick hair.I've found this to be the case with SLS free shampoos with my hair like Kiss My Face as well.

I've tried just about all of the Aveda shampoos and conditioners, and this is my favorite.It lathers better than any of the Aveda shampoos (without containing the odious SLS), and it feels great going on.The much mentioned scalp-tingle is probably the best part of the experience, but this smells FANTASTIC: like rosemary and peppermint.(Not sweet, just herbal).If you tend to have drier hair, you may want to steer clear of this and try the Aveda Sap Moss line.Alternatively, if your hair tends ... I bought this shampoo and conditioner because I wanted a natural product. I used it for one week and it completely dried out my hair. I normally have very shiny healthy hair that is not treated in any way and I use no product on it at all. It's been a month since I stopped using it and my hair still hasn't recovered completely.
