Rating:
- These work great
Nice features, I purchased 4 units for skiing in the mountains and they work great
Rating:
- Simple and Durable - Works Great
I bought 4 of these for work, and we go through bad walkies like crazy, so I was happy when everyone was impressed. Now, this is the only walkie people want to use, so I'm ordering more.
Good range, good quality, simple buttons, fits well in the hand. I really can't complain about this model.
The staff likes them, so I like them too.
Rating:
- Absolutely useless!
I had the misfortune of buying not two but FOUR of these useless things. I had never owned walkie talkies before and I assumed that the garbled sounds I was hearing from the Motorolas was how all walkies sounded. Then I heard someone else's Unidens and I realized that I was holding a steaming pile of dung in my hand. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
Rating:
- Terrible sound quality--unusable
My first walkie-talkies.The sound quality on these is awful.I've tried plug in mics and the built-in mic...even listened in on other people's conversations (or tried).Pretty much everything coming out of these is unintelligible and these radios are useless to me.
Rating:
- Great fro two stories and the mall
We bought these about a week ago and use them quite often. It eliminates the need to yell or search for someone in a two story (like us), or if I'm in the attic or basement. We also use them when shopping to maximize time and save on cell phone minutes. So far they have worked great.
The best use is when driving on long trips in two vehicles. It's free PTT.
I haven't used the NOAA feature on them.Still waiting for that.
