- Would be a great design, had they tested it.
Although I would really like to give this stand three stars, I can't give it any more than two. The stand is beautiful, sturdy and does a good job of holding your laptop. Great. It contains a cable routing hole in the rear to keep cables neat. Smart. That said, this product suffers from a single major design flaw that just can't be overlooked: The cable routing hole is too small to accommodate the DVI plug from an apple Cinema display, despite the fact that the stand is shown *right next to* an apple ... - Nice Pedestal for Stand-Up Use in a Kitchen
I bought this because my wife really wanted to use my "on the road" mac in the kitchen when it wasn't serving its primary purpose. I said "there's no way I'm putting my unibody MacBook on those cluttery counters! It'll get trashed, scratched, spilled on, breathed on wrong!"
The mStand is a great solution because it puts my MacBook on the pedestal it deserves. Well above any kitchen related disasters. It's sturdy enough to not tip over. One thing pictures don't show is that there are rubber ... Read More

Im debating on buying 2 of these: one for my office, and one for my workstation at home. This product was designed to flow with my mbp. I would recommend to anyone who has mbp's or aluminum finish macbooks. It brings the screen higher up, which makes for better back posture and appears as a continuation of Apple's design.

I bought this stand for a 15-inch Mac Powerbook and am very happy with it. I've used it for a few months with no complaints. Its design complements the aluminum laptop nicely. The stand is weighty, stays in place on the desk, and holds the laptop securely. If you've ever had a laptop slide off its stand, you'll appreciate the mStand's shallow lip that keeps it in place. Pads on the bottom protect the desk and on the stand protect the laptop. The indentation in the lip is wide enough to operate the Powerbook's ... Read More

perfect to set up your laptop at your home or work desk when you're not on the go. it is well built (aluminum), light (weight) and perfectly finished (mat silver). the design is amazingly sound: height and inclination of the keyboard. i use a bean bag for my elbows so they don't rest directly on the desk (i am a sensitive guy!)
the only con (i can't take a star for that) would be the size. be sure to check the size to see if it is adequate for your laptop (i have a 15" pc laptop and it holds it ok ... but ... Read More
