Product Description:
Imagine serving guests their own blueberry crisp, piping hot from the oven in this brightly colored Petite Casserole. It's a fun way to present snacks, dips and other single servings that have long baked or just been chilled. In stoneware, it's versatile enough to go right from the fridge to the microwave, and the well-fitted lid retains heat and flavor. Two small side handles make it easy to serve. Fashionable and functional, it also makes a fun gift. Le Creuset stoneware is ideal for microwave or conventional oven, with beautiful colors and textures that make for amazing presentations, whether formal or casual. Nonporous, so it won't stain or absorb odors, and it's exceptionally durable and resistant to scratches, chips and cracks. Can also be stored in the refrigerator or freezer.

Amazon.com Review:
Le Creuset adds adorable charm to its time-tested construction with this winning little petite blueberry lidded casserole dish. Crafted from durable stoneware, the round, berry-shaped piece transitions smoothly from the freezer to the oven then makes for fabulous presentation at the table. Petitely-sized for individual portions of blueberry crisp or warm blueberry compote at the breakfast table, the dish holds 13 ounces when filled to the rim. This size also makes it a convenient vessel for serving chilled berry soup portions in summer. For added cheer and appeal, the casserole can be combined with similar Le Creuset casseroles shaped like strawberries, pears, or blackberries.

Like Le Creuset's other renowned stoneware pieces, the petite blueberry casserole is fired at a whopping 2000+ degrees and stoutly resists odor-absorption, staining, cracking, chipping, and crazing. Its true-blue enamel glazing is attractively deep in hue at top and bottom while lighter at the rim, and the secure lid features a cute, sculptural blueberry top. Measuring 5 by 5 by 5 inches, the casserole cleans up easily by hand or in the dishwasher and is safe for use in the microwave.--Emily Bedard

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Cute but frustrating
Le Creuset Stoneware Petite Blueberry Casserole is absolutely adorable, but I baked apples in them and was very frustrated with trying to get the "lids" off and on for basting/checking for doneness, especially when they are hot. They baked my apples wonderfully, they were delicious, but I am simply not sure whether to use them again or not, because in the process I burned my wrist in the oven and chipped the top of the "blueberry" when I jerked my arm back.So sad ; )

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - very cute, perfect for soup and dessert
This is a very cute petite casserole.I got this on sale for about $16 the other day and am happy with it. (I will explain why I gave it only 3 stars)

I have not used it just yet, but I will probably make some personal size desserts for my husband and he'll love it!

As others have mentioned, it is made in Thailand.I have not seen ones that are made in France so I have nothing to compare it with, but I've purchased Le Creuset remekins that are from Thailand and I believe ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Disappointment
I got one of these for my daughter, who's taking French in High School.

As another reviewer noted, the cheap price ones are ugly. Not really blue at all.Nothing like the official product pix.

Also for me, it is not made in France, but in Thailand. If I wanted cheap asian pottery, I can go to any dollar store.I'd be willing to pay 3.99 for this; nothing more.

Le Creuset lost a customer for life.Glad I didn't try a $200 pot.Wonder where in China those are ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - extra
this was an added extra, so I did not really care about it.However, my wife has been using it to bake many delectable dishes for my son.Nice surprise!

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Beware of lower-priced seconds
I've been wanting a Petite Blueberry Casserole, but $25 seemed too much for a purchase that's basically frivolous. Then one day I noticed the price was marked down to $19.89 for an unknown reason. The temptation was too great, and I bought one. When it arrived, it was actually larger than I expected after reading some of the reviews.(I've posted two photos of the casserole next to a soda can so you can get a better idea of the actual size.)But what I really noticed was the odd color band around ...
