- Works fine for coarse hair...
I got this razor as a gift from my mom to replace my last electric shaver, which no longer held a charge.The razor worked fine on my lower legs, where my hair is thicker and coarser (not great, but it did the job).However, on my knees and upper legs, where the hair is softer and finer, it didn't do much of anything.If I just wanted to wear capris, it did well enough, but for shorts I needed something else.So I gave it back to my mom for her to use.

I bought this raor on sale at my local store and it works only okay. The shave was not particularly a close one and I also tried to use it on my underarms and will not make that mistake again.

I don't use this razor for all shaving but I do use it when I need a fast touch-up.I do NOT use this on my under arms.Tried that once and it hurt too much so no more!Other than that it's nice to have in a pinch.

If you'd like to have the convenience of a cordless shaver but can't face having another re-charger around the house, this item is for you. It runs on 2 AA batteries (regular or rechargeable). Battery life is very good. The shave is very close and smooth. I rate it better than past experiences with Panasonic or Conair. This razor is also good for travel as there is no large recharging base to bring along.

The shaver head keeps leaving silver markings on the skin.It won't wash away.It is from the type of metal used. It is not comfortable to handle and the head is too big.
