- Presto Canner--Love it with three piece weighted gage addition
I have two Presto canners and I love them but I didn't used to.
Babysitting the dial gauge is a pain and I haven't canned enough years to know what stove setting holds the pressure steady at the right weight. After researching, however, and as a previous reviewer mentioned, you can order a three piece weighted gauge that fits these canners for $15 or less if you do a web search for model #50332. - Cant wait to get started
This item met all my expectations, It came with rack to lift jars up, plus a how to do book, that will be most useful. With the way prices keep going up in grocery store, this item is a must.I have had one before, when my children were little, and just had to get another one. This one is a lot lighter weight that the old one I had, and that is great also.

- Great beginner choice
I am new to canning, and I am so glad I chose this product. It is big enough yet still fits in my cabinet, and it is quality construction.I had the pressure gauge tested at the Co-op extension, and it was accurate. My batches so far have been successful, and pretty easy.FYI, if you use it as a pressure cooker, it makes between 15-20 servings.I recommend this product!

- great!! First time Pressure Cooker user review.. READ!
ok - i purchased my first P Cooker and it was a 8 qt stainless steel. i was enticed in because of the "steel"..
The instructions were ok with it.. but the first meal i made i kinda even burned a bit. it said "make sure it was at 15psi".. well with no GUAGE how was i to kno?? i started asking around and come to find out - you CAN cook in a Canner.. and dont worry about the stainless steel vs the forged aluminum.
i returned the other and got this bad boy.

- Awesome
It is so much better than I expected. Really top notch quality and it is very large so it will accommodate all of my recipes. Looks like it will hold an entire turkey if I want!
