- Shoddy Controls
This unit looks great. However, I had to return two toasters, and the third one also went bad.The first time the temperature control broke and would not work.The next oven would not heat unless I hit the oven once or twice.This was probably due to a loose connection.I tried to fix it but it had over 15 screws inside and out and I had trouble looking getting inside it to see where the loose connection was. The RTR1200 was exactly as stated in the blurbs available on the Amazon site. Simple to operate, easy to clean, and not so huge that it demands too much counter space. Nice to get something worth the price charged...

This Haier Toaster Oven does an adequate job baking and reheating small items, but is much to slow to satisfy me as a toaster.It usually takes at least 5 minutes to toast English Muffins or make Toast.Sorry I bought it.

We've had this toaster oven for about a month, and I'm very satisfied.After going through several ovens that either didn't cook evenly or failed completely (the door on the expensive Cuisinart wouldn't close after a few months),I chose this one because of Haier's good reputation.I've used it for heating frozen waffles, broiling English Muffins and baking a 5-pack of refrigerator biscuits.It did well on all of them, but as with any broiling operation, you have to watch it.Much to my husband's ...
