- Get an All-American Pressure Canner Instead
I bought one of these and it felt flimsy. Not a good attribute in a pressure canner! I returned it and purchased an All-American Pressure Canner. Made in Wisconsin, not China! Yes it cost more than twice as much, but now I can bottle my green beans without fear. Don't scrimp on something so important (especially for you gardeners out there).

It will soon be time to visit the farmers' markets across the country, and this is the canner that can kelp you lay up your own no-preservatives-or salt added foods. This is a wonderfully large size that is easy to operate. Remember, to order replacement seals because they only last one canning season (which is typlical). Enjoy the fresh taste all winter long. I highly recommend this canner as it is top quality at a very reasonable price.

This pressure canner is much lighter weight then the one that it replaced.I can process five quarts on the bottom level, and six pints on the second level easily. It heats faster than the old one, maintains pressure at a lower setting, and the seal seams like it will be less problematic.(The old one died a sad death. . .)I am very happy with this pressure canner.
