- Like many others - Recurrent Printhead Failure
Like many others have said the printer does a good job when it feels like working.I have now had my second printhead fialure since owning the machine.Their support is very good and the first time I got the replacement part within a couple of days, however this did not help my son who could not print his report for school. All in all, if you want a dependable machine I would avoid this printer and look elsewhere.

- Can I rate this printer zero stars
Purchased this printer a few years ago and it worked ok for 6 months.
Then my kid started pushing buttons on the top, making it go crazy. So I pulled the power cord.Later I plugged it back in but I happened to pull power just as the count memory in the new ink cartridges were being written to, so they reported as empty even though they were new.
I called Kodak and they sent me new ink. When I installed the new cartridges it wouldn't print ok, no black. After 2 hours ... Read More

- Run away!Systemic Failure of Printer Head.
When I first bought this printer the internal cable seared on the first day of use. I literally heard the sizzle and saw a small puff of smoke.I returned the item to Best Buy and apparently they were well aware of this problem and told me to pick out a replacement. The second printer worked fine for about six months and then the printer head went out.Unfortunately, you cannot purchase a new printer head anywhere.Seriously, you cannot purchase a new printer head anywhere.I called Kodak tech ... - This thing is junk, Kodak should be ashamed, support is in India
This product is junk, and the customer service surrounding troubleshooting and replacement is atrocious.Kodak should be ashamed.
My dad purchased this device on 7-14-08 at Best Buy.It went belly-up shortly thereafter, and attempts to troubleshoot and/or replace it have been a source of endless anger and frustration.
We've spoken with multiple technical support reps (in Bangalore, India) to troublehoot the device. In fact, I'm on the phone with Puneet right now. We've ... Read More

- Worst piece of technolgy ever purchased
This is my nightmare
1. I purchased for use at graduate school. It failed the first time I tried to use it.
2. After a long troubleshooting session with Kodak, they decided to replace it... Bit of a hassle but I could live with it, if that was the end of the issues - but it was not! Starting graduate school without a printer is no picnic... Thanks Kodak!
Periodically (seemed to happen when a paper was due), the printer would give me odd error messages. I'd have to reboot...
