- Doesn't fit JVC camcorder
This is a terribly cheap item which makes you think you should give it a try but don't bother, even at the cheap price it is a complete waste if it doesn't work. I purchased this product for a JVC digital video camera, the cord connection is too big for the camera port. Now I get to continue my search for one that really fits. Thanks for adding to my struggle and wasting my money!

We only had the cords to play our movies from our Sharp camcorder to our DVD player and since we didn't have a DVR we couldn't do anything but watch them. It was going to cost us $20 a tape to get them transfered. Getting this VERY INEXPENSIVE wire allowed us to put all our movies on our Mac (through iMovie) and then transfer them to DVDs. YEAH!!!
Shipping was fast - got it 3 days after I placed the order over a weekend!
The only beware is - Make sure you have the ability to plug a firewire ... Read More

No more slow USB woes when transferring video to my PC. This cable does all that it promises if not a whole lot more. Given the price I paid for this on Amazon.com, I will not hesitate ordering another one if this ever breaks.

- Cannot get computer to recognize this cable
Received the cable quickly and was thrilled with the price.Had no problems hooking up the camera to my computer.Unfortunately I cannot get the computer to recognize the camera.I've tried using two types of video software.Based on other reviews this has happened to others, but they are able to 'jiggle' the cable and eventually get the computer to recognize the cable/camera.I have tried over and over w/ no luck.
