I am amazed at the ability of the photographers to get some of the incredible scenes you'll see. For each program, their "diaries" section details some of the difficulties they had getting extremely rare shots, including access to places no one may ever be allowed to visit again and behavior of animals so endangered they many not make it to the halfway point of this century.
