Epson designs their printers to guzzle ink.Once any one cartridge is low, even if you can shake the cartridge and tell that there is still ink inside, the entire machine shuts down and you can no longer scan images.Beware.

I bought this printer new from this listing. It arrived and would not work. Right out of the box same issue as others mentioned error at start up could not even get the cartridges installed and it made an awful clunking noise. Seller would replace it if I wanted to pay the shipping and a big restocking fee but told me I need to go through Epson warranty. Why should I pay for a new product to be replaced? Finally after fighting with Epson over the amazon receipts they did replace it with a refurbished ... Read More

Let me start by saying that I have been a loyal Epson fan for over 10 years. I have loved all my cannon cameras, but I have loved the prints that my epson printers and scanners have provided me over the years. I have been a purchaser of their photo printer series since the beginning. My first epson photo printer cost me over $500 at the time and gave photo prints unlike any printer available.

This is the best printer that I have ever purchased. I replaced a black Epson cartridge last week and the printer tells me that [ CAN NOT RECOGNIZE CARTRIDGE ] . CALLS Epson and after a few email back and forth they send me a new cartridge and printer says [can not recognize cartridge ] Printer was purchasedDec.23 2007 . If your looking for a printer that will last for the one year warr.

I got a two for one deal on this printer model so didn't pass it up. For professional photo prints and daily paperwork (invoices, letters, etc.) they have both performed very well... beautiful photos with very nice tonal quality in the prints.
When it comes to DVD/CD disc printing, forget it! It has been impossible for me to get the prints to line up correctly on the discs, despite doing everything the sparse instructions say should be done.I've had this trouble with two other Epson printers, ... Read More
