- Short Life
I got this SDHC card reader for free when buying my Sandisk 4GB SDHC card about 1.5 years ago. Like other reviewers have said, you can't beat it for free or less than $5 but beware of some problems. My end caps got very loose after about 6 months and wouldn't stay on nicely. Also, this card reader died after about 1.5 years in use. Seems cheaply made, creaked alot when I handled it. Never abused it, handled it with care in my camera case all the time. Like I said, if you can get it for less than ... Read More

- This does the job!
This has done a good job hooking up my flash cards to my computer. It says it is suppose to take 6 differnt size cards but I have only been able to use the standard size flash card or flash card adapter in mine so far.

- just works, and keeps on working
I bought mine over a year ago.
Well, what can I say, the thing just works, and just keeps on working.
performance is decent, at least a few mb/s, which for me is a lot better than transfering directly from a camera over usb.

- It works but..
Caps are a bit loose, but the device works well. Not much to say, I tried it with an 8G SD-HC card, a 32MB SD card, and the 1G transflash card with an SD adapter. All worked just fine to transfer files. This will block a USB port on my laptop, so if you have other dongles plugged in, you may need to consider a short usb extension cable.Otherwise this is a great deal, as I have seen similar devices going for two to three times as much.

- Nice item
This is a very nice item... compact and problem free so far.I would buy another one if the need arises.
