- Validation Code is RipOff Scheme
Have used the software and check blanks since 2000 and never had a serious problem (aside that the software was never very user-friendly).Then bought the 2010 version to find that it requires a "validation code" to use any blank checks.Since I found a cheaper source of paper elsewhere the software prompts me with annoying messages and attempts to convince me that it will not print with other than genuine Versacheck check blanks.Of course, I can buy the validation codes for non-Versacheck blanks, ... We've used Versacheck in our office for a while now. Used 2004 Gold edition until our printers were no longer supported and then upgraded to 2008 this year.
It's not a bad product, when it works. Contacting support is a pain, and doesn't do any good. If you call the phone support, you stay on hold and never get the chance to talk to anyone. I was on hold once for 2 hours, gave up and went to web support.
The web form is their preferred method of contact, they ask for all kinds ... Read More

I find this product to be everything I had hoped for and more.It is easy to use and the support I have recieved from customer service has been fantastic.I also have the Versajette printer and the combination of the printer and software make for a very nice business utensil.Way to go Versacheck.
Rating: - VersaCheck Gold 2008
I have used previous versions and have liked the program for printing checks from Quicken.The 2008 version however has been seriously crippled by requiring validation codes for proprietary paper and ink.This unfortunately is an ender for me and I will be looking for a replacement.I cannot recommend this program with the silly validations.

Don't waste your time or money on this product.I have used their products for years, but this version completely stinks.Their customer service is horrific and clueless.
They lock you into purchasing "approved" products from them.If that is the case then the software should be free!!I have used standard toner and check paper for years without a single issue at any bank.
The whole idea here is to save on purchasing multiple check stock for multiple accounts, now the additional ... Read More
