I feel like this product needs a little bit more of a good endorsement.
My mom and I got roped in by a sales person at the Benefit counter to get our makeup done. I was skeptical because I'm all Bare Minerals, usually.
But, I loved what they did! I ended up buying their brow kit, and Benetint. My mom got You Rebel- she's never worn foundation, but loves this.
They sent her home with a sample of That Gal!, and she never used it. I was at her house the other ... Read More

I was browsing the Benefit counter at a shopping mall sans makeup and the Benefit lady recommended me to try this to brighten up my complexion. She put the product on one of my hands and asked me to compare both my hands. I could see a difference. I purchased it but when I tried it on my face, I couldn't see any difference. I'll stick with Sila's illuminating tinted moisturizer anytime. The only thing I liked about the product is the smell of it.

I read through the reviews, and all I can think is that sometimes people forget that make up is different on everyone, depending on your skin tone, coloring and oiliness.That being said, I tried it at the counter before I bought it.Using the famous half face test, When used under make up, there is a definite difference.My make up was smoother looking on the side with "That Gal".And it doesn't feel heavy at all, actually, it just feels like a nice light moisturizer.Since then, I've used it ... I love this product, not only does it keep my foundation, powder, and blush from getting chalky or smearing, but it really brightens dry skin without making it feel oily (a big problem for me). It adds a really subtle glow that just makes you look more awake and fresh.
That being said this is certainly a product for the fair skinned. I let my hispanic friend use it and it didn't do much except keep her makeup in place.
