Who's coming to dinner is a wonderful mixture of the right characters. Including the trio of Spencer Tracey, Katherine Hepburn, and Sidney Poitier. Those three just fit there roles perfectly and Spencer Tracey delivers an Amazing speech to end the movie before his death.

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner was topical and timely when released in 1967-8 but seems dated and "forced" to me now.Spencer Tracey and Katherine Hepburn filmed their last movie together and Spencer Tracey died within a month of Dinner's filming. They are (were) good together, but beyond this the film is a cliche with too-good-to-be-real characters and a plot that is set up with too many too accomplished people.Everybody is very affluent and economically secure and can do as they wish and be as tolerant ...
