I'm sorry to have to add my voice to the chours of boos relative to Quicken Home and Business. Intuit, the makers of Quicken, have two rock-solid products: Turbortax and Quickbooks Pro.Quicken used to be rock solid, but not anymore.
I had used Quicken from 2000 through 2005 and then gave up on it.As many reviewers have already noticed, Intuit forces you to upgrade every few years or so by eliminating the ability to download information from your bank accounts, one of the core competencies ... Read More

Have been using personal Quicken since the '90's.This is the first time I have tried the H&B version.I chose the 2008 version after reading reviews indicating that it was much better than the 2009 version.
I am having problems with co-ordinating business and personal accounts.It seems that this version believes everyone is a good little follower and keeps the two types of accounts separate.I, on the other hand, have always used the same physical accounts for both personal and business ... Read More

Beware - apparently you can only use your Quicken software for 2-3 years, then they discontinue the online download capability of the software...
I just found this out today: I'm using Quicken 2006 and anytime I click on Account Update to download transactions from my banks, I get a window that pops up saying I have until April 30th 2009 to upgrade to Quicken 2009 or else I'll no longer be able to download my transactions using the current 2006 software version.
