Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Quicken Home Inventory Manager
I am unhappy that Quicken Home Inventory Manager does not allow me to input my inventory from an Excel work sheet.Besides that the program is fine, but in order to use it I would have to type in over 1,500 individual items rather that just import them. Not good!

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - So very disgusted with it
All the negative reviews are dead on the mark. The positive ones are incomprehensible.

This Intuit home inventory program is a complete disappointment compared to the classic. Don't waste your money.

Had trouble with the upgrade. It is slow. Most troubling: No way to create a report on a specific room or category, such as a CD or DVD collection. You can only create a PDF file of the entire inventory -- mine is nearly 800 pages long, and that's without photos, and sometimes ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Disappointing for long-time Quicken users
I purchased this after the classic (included in quicken) was no longer supported. This is the most frustrating software I own, but don't want to switch because it is connected to Quicken.Pros: I add a transaction in Quicken and from the menu, can open QHIM. It asks if I want to add the item to QHIM and then I edit the inventory data. That's a very useful tool and the main reason I'm sticking with QHIM, hoping they improve it soon.Cons:The support online stinks. Quicken lets you attach a PDF receipt, ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Stick with the one you get for free with Quicken
Except for the photo attachment feature, this is a step back from the home inventory you get free with Quicken. As reported by others, a clunky and slow user interface. Basic file functions are confusing (where is "save as"?). And the output functionality is a step back too -- for instance wouldn't it be nice to do a report sorted by location (instead of category) so that I can walk around and check my inventory?

And even the photo feature wasn't all that helpful, if I scan in a receipt it comes ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Very Low Quality Software
Clunky interface, super-slow screen redraws, and non-intuitive screens and data entry. How did this get past Quicken's Quality Assurance and User Testing departments?
I demanded and received and refund.
