- Brightness problem fixed in newer versions
Now they have a feature - Auto Dim) that will turn off the display at a specified time... You can always hit the snooze control (Repeat Alarm/Brightness Control) button to see the time in the middle of the night, but otherwise it's completely dark. (It's called the Auto Dim Timer so it can auto dim from 10pm to 6am or whatever you like)
I purchsed it for my desk, and not the bedroom, so the brightness issue wasn't a show-stopper for me... But then I discovered they fixed it and I didn't see ... Read More

You should buy this unit.The design is very sleek and clean.The screen is bright, clear and big.Although the resolution is not particularly high, it does a good job of upconverting your photos and videos.Plug in a memory card or USB drive and you can play MPEG videos, JPEG photos or MP3 music.You can set the display to play the videos or pictures sequentially ... This product is wonderful. It has mulitpule features and works great . It has an alarm clock, radio, digital frame, mp3 player.I would recommend it to anyone.

I was looking for a unique alarm clock to perform the basic functions that an alarm clock could and stumbled upon this. Yes, as stated in previous reviews, there are certain key aspects to it that can be improved but if your looking for an alarm clock with a large screen, cool features and that looks great in the bedroom, this is it. As soon as you use it you'll agree its a great gift idea. Granted the picture quality isn't great but its alarm clock, what do you expect? For its basic functionality, aesthetics ... Read More

I got it on sale ($34 + $8 shipping) and it worth the price but not the full price. I'd suggest to read the reviews of 3-4 stars because now that I got mine I found those were the more precise. At certain point I was disappointed about many things: awful way of searching photos and music, bad resolution, it's too bright on the darkness, but the DivX player works perfect.
