This purchase was a replacement for a metal one of similar construction that failed after several years of use.While the plastic version initially had us worried about the durability of this single handle cork screw, so far it is working quite well.The foil cutter is a bit better construction than the old one and the cork screw action is smooth and easy to use.I discovered that by holding the cork afterwards, I can unscrew the cork using a reverse action so that the opener is ready for the ...
