- You pay for what you get
Don't believe the hype that cheap cables are just as good. The people that sell the cheap stuff are the only ones saying that the cables are all the same. What Monster provides is documented evidence and clinical trials that show why higher quality cables are needed. Just because a cable looks the same out the outside doesn't mean it works the same on the inside, just like robots.
I did a test between this cable and a cheap-o cable on my 150" screen. I have an HD projector with a blu ... Read More

- DO NOT BUY!
There is absolutely no reason to buy a "high performance" expensive digital cable unless you like flushing money down the toilet. A $3 cable will work exactly the same. The whole reason electronics use digital is because any noise on the line doesn't affect signal quality. You either get a valid digital signal or you don't. It amazes me that Monster Cable is able to rip off consumers with their talk of better quality digital signals. If you don't believe me, do some research online and find out what ... Read More

- Great value and service!
I read the reviews for this type of cable. Many of them out said that it really didn't matter which cable you used as long as it's an HDMI. They say that the TV still works and you can't tell the difference and if the cable goes bad you can just buy another $10 cheapy. Well, I'm not a pro and I have nothing to compare it to but I do have a good eye for quality. The product is finely crafted and looks sturdy and high tech when compared to the $10 specials. I would definately recommend buying an ultrahigh ... Read More

- Absolute Rip Off - Monster uses age old ploy of wowing customers with technical jargond.
Don't buy into the hype the sales people at Big Box stores or Monster feeds you. Folks, there is no need to spend this over inflated price on an HDMI cable.
There is an article in NY Times on June 10, 2009 about how to tweak your HDTV to make it perform at its best. The article specifically advises readers not to be tempted to spend too much on cables. It also quotes industry expert Joe Kane. His advice: "Cheap cables that cost 75 cents per foot work as well as those that cost $100 per foot," ... Read More

- $9.00 or $90.00 MAKES NO DIFFERENCE MONSTER $$$
Helllo MON$TERCABLE,
I have an ebay HDMI cable, MON$TERCABLE" your challenge is to show me the $80.00+ immediate difference I would gain by buying this "Mon$ter" cable over what I "ACTUALLY" receive from a Blu-ray to a Sony TV. I wager MON$TERCABLE does not aknowledge this wager though.
